Lara's designs tend to mix technology and traditional techniques. She is a talented illustrator and likes to incorporate these and natural textures into her design work.
Recently she has delved into stop motion animation. Her first foray into the genre is a 1.5 minute claymation called 'Evolution'. It is a tongue in cheek take on the theory of evolution including plasticine puppets and sets made from felt, fabric and potpourri. A second five minute film is currently under production.
